Description

Basil Calligaris Chair with Wooden Base

The Basil Calligaris chair combines a distinctive nature-inspired design with warm materials and practical proportions. Its characteristic silhouette takes inspiration from the shape of a basil leaf, giving this dining chair an instantly recognizable appearance.

A central rib runs through the seat and backrest, recalling the natural structure of a leaf. This detail is not only decorative but also defines the character of the Basil collection, creating a contemporary chair that remains elegant and versatile enough for everyday interiors.

Matt Black Wood & Cognac Regenerated Leather

This configuration combines a solid wood base in P15L Matt Black Ash with R04 Cognac regenerated leather. The rich cognac tone brings warmth to the design, while the dark wooden legs create an elegant contrast and give the chair a sophisticated contemporary character.

The regenerated leather version receives additional attention to detail. Single riveted stitching runs along the perimeter, complemented by decorative cross-stitching on the seat and backrest. These details emphasize the shape of the chair and add a refined crafted finish to the upholstery.

Thanks to its balanced combination of wood and regenerated leather, Basil works beautifully with wooden, ceramic and glass dining tables. Its compact dimensions also make it a practical choice for dining rooms and kitchens where comfortable seating is important without taking up unnecessary space.

Designed for Everyday Dining

With a width of just 44.5 cm, the Basil Calligaris chair allows several chairs to fit comfortably around the dining table. The 45.5 cm seat height provides a natural seating position for standard dining tables, while the shaped backrest offers comfortable support.

Its versatile proportions and timeless material combination make Basil suitable for contemporary dining rooms, kitchens and open-plan living spaces.
